Parks and Recreation Adjusts Facility Hours Beginning July 6

Beginning Monday, July 6, Chapel Hill Parks and Recreation will adjust the regular operating hours of its facilities to better match the times community members use them and to ensure responsible stewardship of taxpayer dollars.

Town Releases Draft LUMO to Support Housing, Sustainability, & Growth

The Town of Chapel Hill has released a draft of its updated Land Use Management Ordinance (LUMO), a comprehensive rewrite of the regulations that guide how and where growth happens in Chapel Hill. Community members are encouraged to review the draft, ask questions, and provide feedback ahead of the Town Council’s formal consideration later this year.

OWASA Water Main Project Nears Halfway Mark, Brings New Traffic Alert

Orange Water and Sewer Authority’s (OWASA) work to replace an aging water main on W. Rosemary Street is moving along as planned and it’s bringing a new traffic alert starting July 8.
